Jelly Bean update begin to hit Sony Xperia V

Jelly Bean update begin to hit Sony Xperia VIf you can remember, Sony had just rolled out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to their Xperia T flagships last week. Today, Sony has begun pushing out the Jelly Bean update to another batch of device – Xperia V. Countries that have reportedly received the update include Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany and Switzerland. This update will bring the device’s firmware version up to 9.1.A.0.490.

Although Sony has yet to release the changelog for this update, but there are reports that claim it will fix the cumbersome ” Sleep of Death ” bug on the device. Anyway for those of you who’ve yet to receive the OTA update notification, you can always go to Settings > About phone > System software updates to manually check for the update as well.

So have anyone of you received the Jelly Bean update on your Xperia V?
